A Lifesaving Initiative Led by Service and Commitment
On 25th May 2025, the Atulniya Shiv Shagun Welfare Foundation (ASSWF), in collaboration with Umang Foundation, organized a blood donation camp under the leadership of Major General Atul Kaushik (Retd.), Founder of ASSWF. Themed “Donate Your Blood to Save a Life,” this vital health initiative focused on encouraging voluntary blood donation and supporting the healthcare needs of patients requiring critical blood transfusions.
Purpose and Community Involvement
The camp aimed to address the growing demand for safe blood and to raise awareness about the importance of regular donation. With the active participation of local volunteers, youth, and members of the community, the event witnessed an encouraging turnout.
All medical and safety protocols were strictly followed, and donors were guided through the process by trained healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and secure experience.
Impact and Acknowledgement
The blood collected was directed to authorized blood banks to support patients undergoing surgeries, accidents, and life-threatening conditions. The initiative received strong support and appreciation from both the community and local health authorities.
